Drug database

Baza leków (Eng. drug database) is a database of drugs containing complete information about medicines available on the Polish pharmaceutical market designed for specialized programs for doctors and pharmacists to support processes related to prescription drugs by a doctor.

The database contains information about:
• reimbursement (reimbursable medicines or not, the details of reimbursement for chronic disease),
• prescribing rules (anxiolytics printed into the single prescription, medicines printed on pink prescription),
• the prices of refunded medicines,
• reimbursement limits,

Descriptions of the drug, including composition, action, indications, contraindications, precautions, side effects, interactions and dosage. The database is constantly updated and is now the basis for DrEryk programme. The database currently contains more than 30 thousand records.
